ACTIVITIES
There is no bad weather, only bad clothes! We will be happy to help you organize activities or excursions in good or bad weather. For more information on what to do, please see our Grindelwald page.
BUS
Traveling with the ski or city bus is included in your Grindelwald Visitor card.
To plan your travel, you can use the SBB-website or download their app. Your nearest bus stop is GRINDELWALDERHOF.
CENTRAL TOUCH PANEL
Heating / Lights / Shutters
This central system can control all lights, shutters and temperatures in all the rooms in the apartment. Everything (except the light over the dining table) can also be controlled by the switches in the rooms. So there is no need to use it at all if you don’t want or need to.
To begin: Tap the screen softly with a finger, NOT with finger nails or anything sharp. This will turn the screen on.
The language can be selected via a button on the left hand side of the screen. English and German are available. If a different language has been selected the unit will re boot – do not touch the screen until this has finished.
A list of the rooms should appear.
Tap the room where you wish to make the change and then tap the relevant icon accordingly.
CHECK-IN
We welcome you from 16:00. If the apartment is ready earlier, we will be very happy to welcome you earlier, free of charge!
CHECK-OUT
All good things come to an end. We kindly ask you to leave the apartment at 11:00 am at the latest. Check-out is at the reception of the Boutique Hotel Glacier, please make sure that all keys are returned. This is where you will pay the tourist tax and any supplements.
Your deposit will be refunded after final cleaning.
This is a vacation apartment, please leave it as you found it. The cleaning is included in your stay, but we do expect you to remove any trash, food or other items from your stay. The kitchen need to be tidied, plates & cutlery in the dishwasher and program started. Garbage bags disposed of in the appropriate container and recycling taken out (recycle containers at the fire station). We reserve the right to charge an extra cleaning fee of CHF 100.- in case of negligence.
COSMETIC PRODUCTS
You will find a small selection of Rituals products in your bathrooms. They are pretty, smell good and are Ecocert certified, which means they are also environmentally friendly.
DISHWASHER
We supply detergent for the start of your stay, should you need more, tablets can be bought at the Coop or Migros Voi on the main street.

HOUSEKEEPING
If you would like to take advantage of our housekeeping services, you can relax while you explore Grindelwald and its surroundings. Available on request for an additional fee.
KITCHEN
Everything is left for you to use and make your stay feel like home. Please make sure to leave the kitchen as you wish to find it. Please take note that the Kitchen has an induction stovetop and could by close proximity course problems for people with pacemakers. We supply detergent for the start of your stay, should you need more, tablets can be bought at the Coop or Migros Voi on the main street.
HOB AND STEAM EXTRACTOR
The steam extractor is extended by switching on the hob and then using the associated WESCO control panel (bottom left).
If the hob is not working, the child lock is often activated. Press -/+ simultaneously to deactivate it.
LAUNDRY
The laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer is in the basement (car park level). Enter the door behind the lift and choose the door on the left. The white door is marked “Terrace Apartment” and can be opened with the appartment key. We have left you detergent for your first wash. More detergent can be purchased at the Coop or Migros VOI.
LAUNDRY SERVICE
Laundry service is provided by Grindelhomes. Please fill out the laundry service price list and drop the bag off at the Glacier reception. For next day delivery, the laundry must be dropped off before 11:00 am. We do not offer dry cleaning services.

MASSAGE
Whether it’s a sore neck, backache, headache or heartache, a massage can fix it all. Discover our range of rejuvenating in-house spa treatments for relaxation and healing. Massages can be booked in advance over the phone or online.

NIGHT REST
Please respect the residential law, no loud noise after 22:00, make sure doors and windows are closed to limit the spread of noise.
NO SMOKING
Smoking is only permitted on the terrace from the living room. Please do not throw cigarette buds in the garden, use an ashtray, and close the windows while you are outside smoking.
PARKING
Parking 18 & 40 in the basement is reserved for your use.
Please only use the provided parking.

We would love to welcome you in our Glacier Fine Dining or Petit Glacier at Boutique Hotel Glacier.

SKI ROOM AND SKI BOOTS DRYER
Skis/boards and ski boots are not allowed in the flat. Please do not take skis/boards or ski boots into the flat after use.
These can be left in the communal ski room at the rear of the chalet. You will need the badge from the keys to get in. The designated area for the apartments ski clothes is in the room marked JI – behind the door.
The light switch is on the left-hand side.
Alternatively, you can leave your skis and ski boots in the laundry room, which is for this apartment only. Go down the stairs to the parking level, past the notice board, through the door with the badge, turn left and it is the last door marked *Terrace Apartment, Apartment J”.
There is a ski boot dryer in the laundry room for use by guests. You will find instructions on how to use the dryer in the laundry room.
TOWELS
One towel per guest is provided. Please feel free to wash the towels yourself or contact us for replacement. There is an additional charge for this service.
TV
The television has cable channels.
We kindly ask you not to change the language on any of the appliances.
WASTE / GARBAGE / RECYCLING
We ask you to dispose of waste inside and outside the Terrace apartment in the appropriate containers.
The local government only accepts garbage in the provided garbage bags. Please fill the bag and dispose them in the round container outside at the back of the building.
Recycling can be done at Grindelwald bus terminal or plastic at the supermarket. Please protect our environment by dispose your recycling correctly.
